Vinnie Paz - Jake Lamotta

Jake Lamotta is my second favorite song off of Vinnie Paz’s new album God of the Serengeti (my favorite song being Cheesesteaks)The instrumental has a very laid-back old school feel, which is exceptionally unique for Vinnie Paz. The beats he raps over are typically just as aggressive as his flow, but this mixture of a mellow beat and aggressive flow randomly works exceptionally well.

For those who don’t know, Vinnie Paz is a HUGE fan of boxing, and Jake Lamotta is a retired boxer and former World Middleweight Champion of the 1940’s and 50’s (aggressive/old school). He’s also an Italian-American like Vinnie Paz.
