The Best of Underground Hip-Hop

Nacho Picasso - Rammin’

Ever since Seattle rapper Nacho Picasso released his surprisingly outstanding debut mixtape For The Glory last year, he’s definitely been on my hip-hop radar.  His dark and uniquely odd flow is addictive…a flow “that the gods quote”.

This particular song from his new mixtape Lord Of The Fly, it was released January 13 (Friday the 13th). Blue Sky Black Death produced some of his best instrumentals to date.  The mixtape is great, except Nacho Picasso’s monotonous flow gets old somewhat fast, primarily since he only has one speed of rapping; however, individually each song is pretty damn solid in it’s own way.  This is the kind of music best enjoyed when sprinkled into a playlist consisting of other artists as well, so it stays fresh, if you know what I mean.  His rhymes are exquisite, utilizing many internal rhymes and he often boasts 4 syllable rhyme schemes like it’s nothing.

I definitely recommended listening to his music while blazed.
